It’s always important to regularly clean your gun and rifle barrels and keep them firing safely after each use. Guns are metal that can rust over time. Residue buildup can occur and can leave the inside of your barrel rusty. A rusted Firearm can cause a hazardous situation where your gun or rifle malfunctions.
Always remember before cleaning to make sure your gun is not loaded. After opening the chamber, confirm that no rounds remain in the chamber or are stuck in the barrel. It’s important always to check that your Firearm is not loaded as you can never be positive.
To prepare your gun or rifle, disassemble according to your owner’s manual. If you are not familiar with taking apart your gun, please bring it to a gunsmith and do not attempt to do this yourself.
